Friday afternoon English Club at Yang-Ming High School, Taipei City, and today 15 very lovely Year 10 students came with me across the road to visit Good Shepherd Church ~ our arrival coincided with the last 10 minutes of the kindergarten music class; the kindergarten children performed for us, then we performed for them ~ it was fun! Then the 2 Good Shepherd clergy, Rev. Lily Chang and Rev. Herbert Barker (who in these photos look rather like Mary and Joseph sitting on their chairs in front of the stable!) and some sharing time with the students, followed by photos at the main gate round the Christmas tree.
One of the advantages of having Christmas in the middle of a school term has got to be that we can hold activities like this all over Christmas ~ and having Christmas at a weekend means that we don’t have to squeeze all our church activities into the weekday evenings, instead we can spread them over the whole weekend. So watch this space, Christmas weekend promises to be even busier!
