Easter Egg time at the Sunday School ~ this is my real Easter Egg sent all the way from the UK ~ and not a single one of those very lovely kids could guess what was in that package! Even when I told them it might be an Easter egg they still had no idea what I was talking about. As Taiwan Easter eggs are usually of the small hard-boiled variety, I guess it wasn’t really surprising….. but you should have seen their big staring eyes, not only was it chocolate and big, but also totally intact!
And if you recognise one of the Easter cards the children have cut up, then maybe its one you sent me in previous years now being recycled and hey-ho they have made their own Easter card….
Then off we went downstairs to the church for the Holy Communion ~ and then off to the Garden Centre near the High-Speed Rail Station for a big Easter lunch, singing, games and egg hunt ~ almost 40 people came, mostly not Christians… what a great witness!
