Yes, it’s all been happening here in Taiwan with our 5 lovely visitors from the USA Episcopal Church leading our 2-day workshop on preventing child abuse in our churches and kindergartens…
It’s a serious subject, but in-between times we’ve had lots of fun, and of course wonderful meals….
On Thursday evening off we all went to Yilan City for Beijing Duck and a yummy meal….!
Then on Friday morning, there were so many of us all wearing pink, that here we all are lined up!
On Friday lunchtime we had presentations of gifts for all the leaders, and farewells…
On Friday afternoon, I took a small group of us up the hills to see the view and get a bit of exercise… saw a grasshopper, and Bronwyn had her family gnome with her ~ hence the photos ha ha!
By Saturday we were all leaving, and I accompanied the visitors to visit St. Stephen’s Mission in Keelung… what a welcome!
and then Trinity Church, Keelung and the local Christian bookshop (see the white cross in their ceiling?), run by one of their church members…
A great few days ~ a good learning experience for
us all, many challenges and things to think about, and action to follow… thank you to the Episcopal Church for organising and leading the workshop, and to the Church Pension Fund for funding it all!
