‘A well tied tie is the first serious step in life…’

So said Oscar Wilde…. and here we are at the St. John’s University Chaplaincy getting ready to put it all into practice!

Every year during November, the chaplaincy organizes a Coming-of-Age ceremony for all our first year students… and last year it was highly praised by the inspection team from the Ministry of Education…

And this year for the first time, instead of candles ~ we are spending the ceremony budget on ties, ties and more ties!

Every student will be wearing one, with a white shirt…. smart or what?!

They arrived today, and here we all are in the chaplaincy office arranging their distribution ~ it’s fun!
