Retelling the Christmas Story….

with a giraffe, kangaroo, mooing Scottish Highland Cow and a snail!

Oh yes, plus a whole pile of old Christmas cards kindly donated by Bishop Lai…

Last night the final class of this semester for our SJU Chaplaincy Relaxed English Group (yes it was Christmas Day but still a normal working and school day round here!)….

A great challenge as none of these lovely students really knew many details about the Christmas story ~ and they had to retell it including the key words on the cards…

Hence the kangaroo ~ who became King Herod, the snail for the donkey and the Highland Cow for a camel, oh and the tinsel for the star… so creative!
