Farewelling our lovely Bangalore friends!

A wonderful visit from my good Bangalore friends  ~ Harrison, Nancy and Allen ~ on Saturday.  They came specially from Taichung to say goodbye!

Earlier this year on Pentecost Sunday, June 24, we celebrated their older son, Kelvin being confirmed at St. James’ Church, Taichung, and also said goodbye to him as he left to start his university studies in their home country of India (see that blog post here).  And it sounds like he’s having a great time!

Now the whole family is leaving Taiwan, Harrison being sent to work at the HQ of their company in the USA, so the 3 of them are America-bound ~ fortunately they have a few weeks to say farewell to all their old friends ~ and I was so happy to be included!  They brought me some Coorg coffee from India – always delicious, and some Indian snacks, and the most beautiful multi-coloured bag you’ve ever seen.  Just watch this space!

They will of course be much missed, especially at St. James’ English congregation.  I’ll miss them too, they are just so lovely!  Thank you Harrison, Nancy and Allen for your friendship – and your visit!

Lunch, kite-flying at Baishawan, coffee, and a quick visit to my house ~  a fantastic day!
